These recipes are relatively easy to prepare and will leave our hair, stronger, softer and help your hair to grow. I believe at lease one of these hair secrets will become a part of your regular hair regiment. Make sure to prepare enough to put away and use again.
These herbs can be used as a rinse, or added to olive oils and apply directly to the scalp. Try them all and I am sure there be at lease one herbal rinse that is your favorite.
Hair Growth Remedy - Rosemary Tea
Most people already have rosemary in their food pantry. You might not have known, that it has so many health benefits. It is a powerful antioxidant, has the ability to kill bacterial infections, stimulates, improves circulation throughout the body and helps supply needed blood supply for a beautiful hair and complexion. A rosemary tea rinse encourages hair growth the cleansing and stimulating hair follicles.
Add two stalks of fresh rosemary to 2 cups of water and low boil until it is down to one concentrated cup. Strain and pour over the hair.
*Rosemary tea is also great for tension, stress, headaches and to improve memory.
Cat Nip Hair Rinse (Growth)
Warning! If you have cats, using this hair rinse, may cause them to be permanently attached to your head!
To make a catnip rinse for hair, add 1/4 cup of catnip whole leave to a quart of water. Bring to a boil and then let cook. If you want a stronger rinse use more herbs.
Strain and add to the solution or use cider vinegar solution first, then add catnip hair rinse. For best results use distilled water or alkaline water 6.0. Use as a leave in treatment for curly or coarse hair.
**Not for Blond hair!
*Catnip hair growth remedy, can also be drank, as a tea to clam the nerves.
Sage Hair Rinse
Sage is a hair growth remedy, that has been used to help retard hair loss, by improving blood circulation to the entire body, and encourage hair growth. It can also be used taken as a tea, or applied to the hair as a stimulating tonic.
Strain and add 4 large sage leaves to 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes and allow to cool. Apply to the hair directly after shampooing as a final rinse.
As a tea, it is good for detoxifying the blood. Use 1/2 ounce of sage, in one quart of water and simmer for 1/2 hour. Add sugar and lemon.
* For dark hair
Tyme Rinse for Thinning Hair
If you have a problem with thinning hair, thyme is great for stimulating the scalp and encouraging hair growth. It is in addition, good for improving skin, treatment for acne, eczema and other ailments of the skin. It can be taken as a tea for a cleansing tonic.
You can use thyme alone in making your rinse or add sage or rosemary all great for the hair. Add 1/4 of fresh thyme to two cups of water. Bring to a boil, then allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Strain and pour over the hair after shampooing and rinsing.
