Homemade Natural Hair Removal Sugar Wax

Natural Hair Removal Sugar Wax
Sugar waxing is an all-natural, very easy way of waxing. All you need is 3 ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. It is a great alternative to waxing with chemical-filled waxes, it is gentle because it sticks to hair, not skin, and it's also a great way to save money! Here's how to make and use sugar wax.
Ingredients You Need;
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup lemon or lime juice
1/2 cup water
How to Make the Wax
To make the sugar wax, put all the ingredients into a saucpan or pot (preferably a tall one incase some of the mixture splatters out of the pot or pan). Turn the heat on high and stir the mixture constantly.
When the mixture starts to boil, turn the heat down to low, and let the mixture simmer until it turns a golden brown color. Keep stirring constantly. When the mixture reaches a golden brown color, take the pot or pan off the stove and either let it cool in the pot/pan, or pour it in a jar you would like to use to store it, or pour it on a non-stick sprayed area to let it cool.

When the mixture is cool to the touch, it should have a caramel-like consistency. Take the mixture in your (clean) hands, and knead and pull at the wax and form it into a ball.
You can now use your sugar wax to remove hair.

How to Use the Wax
How to Use the Wax
To use the wax, make sure the area you are waxing is clean and dry. If you are waxing your armpits and you have some sweat or oils there, you can put a powder such as cornstarch or baby powder on your armpits, wipe off the excess, and then continue to wax.
Take your wax, spread it on the area firmly, going with the growth of the hair. Make sure to leave some wax in your grip. Then, quickly pull off the section of wax, against the growth of your hair. You may miss a few stray hairs, and you can either go back and wax the area again, or pluck the stray hairs with tweezers later. This natural wax is safe to use on any part of the body.
Never use the wax when it is hot- it could seriously burn you.

How to Store the Wax
To store the wax, roll it up into a ball, and place it in a jar or container. Store at room temperature. One batch of this mixture should last a few weeks, if not more.
